A recording of Dr. Amanda Novack’s presentation – Infectious Disease and Opioid Use Disorders – is now available. The training covered common manifestations of infectious complications in patients with substance use disorder. Attendees also learned methods to incorporate risk mitigation strategies that can lower the likelihood of infections in patients with SUD, as well as methods to modify treatment plans to accommodate patients with barriers to standard care for treating infections.
