Next week, we will be hosting part two in a webinar series focused on Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). This series is being organized by the state SDOH and Population Health Workgroup. Angie Walker will be presenting on some practical methods clinics can use to get started integrating SDOH screening and referrals into their practice workflows. Angie Walker manages the Dr. Randy Walker Family Practice and Allergy Clinic in De Queen. Their office is well known throughout Arkansas for providing whole-person care, including understanding patients’ values, assessing social needs and other barriers to care, and helping patients achieve what they want out of life without being sidelined by illness.
