Please join us for our upcoming webinar on Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) January 17th from 12pm – 1pm. This is the second in a two part training series funded by the Arkansas Rural Opioid Team Education (A-ROUTE) grant through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).  You are welcome to attend regardless of whether you attended part 1. Attendees will receive one CEU/CME through American Association of Family Physicians.  SBIRT is a comprehensive, integrated, public health approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment services for persons with substance use disorders, as well as those who are at risk of developing these disorders. This training will go over the fundamental principals of using SBIRT. This training can benefit primary care centers, hospital emergency rooms, trauma centers, and other community settings that provide opportunities for early intervention with at-risk substance users before the severity of their condition increases.
