A recording of part two of our two part training series focused on Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT, Part 2) is now available. The training was organized by the Arkansas Rural Opioid Team Education (A-ROUTE) and funded through the Health Resources and Services Administration.  Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment is a comprehensive, integrated, public health approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment services for persons with substance use disorders, as well as those who are at risk of developing these disorders. This training will go over the fundamental principals of using SBIRT. This training can benefit primary care centers, hospital emergency rooms, trauma centers, and other community settings that provide opportunities for early intervention with at-risk substance users before the severity of their condition increases.
